Kindergarten Supplies
2009-2010
Below is the Kindergarten supply list...
Please bring your child's supplies to school ON MEET YOUR TEACHER DAY!

Thank you for providing the needed supplies for your child.
Broken Arrow Schools has adopted a
universal supply list for all schools.
Please see my wish list
for additional items needed.
2 boxes Crayola crayons (small, 24 ct.) In addition to these supplies I have purchased 5 spirals ***A lot of the supplies will be used as community supplies.
1 box (8 ct.) regular WASHABLE markers
1 box facial tissue (175 count)
2 bottles school glue, 4 oz. (I would actually rather have 2 LARGE glue sticks in place of this... we use a little glue but more glue sticks. If you have already purchased supplies, no worries! I will work with whatever you send!)
scissors (plastic handle, metal blades, blunt point, Fiskars preferred)
1 WASHABLE watercolor paint set
1 box of baby wipes
4 LARGE (.77 oz or larger) glue sticks
PLEASE send the BIG ones... it takes 4 little ones to equal a big one in ounces.
12 wooden pencils (#2 lead with erasers)
2 pocket folders with brads (I would prefer 1 poly folder with brads in green in place of these.

additional supplies, we are only allowed to post a wish list.
I purchased the following for your child:
2 24ct. crayons
1 Poly binder and folder combo with sheet protectors
2 glue sticks
Please DO NOT label supplies.
I will request supplies throughout the year as needed.
If you have already purchased supplies, do not worry! I will work with whatever I receive. Last year, we went to a district-wide list and it has been a hard change for kindergarten. At Park Lane, we used to ask for 7 of the large glue sticks (which we completely used every year) and that has been a hard change... it just means I get to purchase the extras. If you want to send extras, I would be so grateful... the large glue sticks never go on sale... but they NOW sell a 3 pack at Target, they are the CHEAPEST there! Also, your child will need a few things at home. I am sure you probably have the basics. Your child will need crayons, pencils, glue sticks and scissors at home for different projects. I like to tell parents now while supplies are on sale!
